What is Atlanta December weather like?

With average temperatures ranging from 36.5 F (2.5 C) to 54 F (12.2 C), you can expect chilly mornings and evenings. To stay comfortable, the best bet is to pack layers, including a warm jacket or other outerwear to keep you comfortable all day long.

It’s rare to see snow in Atlanta – and when it does fall, much to the dismay of local children and all those who enjoy a good snow day, it tends to not accumulate.
